Easily create a LinkedIn campaign in Vuleads to engage your prospects with personalized videos.
Here's a step-by-step guide on how to create a LinkedIn campaign:
Step 1: Create a new campaign
Click the "+ New Campaign" button
In the dashboard, click the "+ New Campaign" button to start creating a new campaign.
Name your campaign
Give your campaign a name.
Select your campaign type
Choose "LinkedIn" as your campaign type. Click "Create" to proceed to the next step.
Step 2: Import your leads
Prepare your CSV file
- Ensure your CSV file is properly formatted with no empty rows.
- Use commas (,) as the delimiter between fields.
- The CSV data must include at least the following columns: first name, last name, company, email, and URL for the targeted LinkedIn profiles.
- You can include custom fields.
- Please note that there is a fixed limit of 50 leads per import for LinkedIn campaigns.
To align with LinkedIn's limitations, it's advisable to cap your activity at 50 LinkedIn URLs per day, distributed across 5 launches of 10 profiles. This is considered the safest limit. The specific limitations on your account depend on various factors, including your activity level on LinkedIn, you account type (regular, Sales Navigator, etc.), and other criteria. Furthermore, please make certain that you remain logged into your LinkedIn account throughout the video creation process.
You can download an example CSV file by clicking here.
Upload your CSV file
Click the "Upload" button and select the CSV file from your computer.
Map CSV columns
Vuleads will prompt you to map the CSV columns to the corresponding data fields.
Ensure that the columns in your CSV match the required fields (first name, last name, company, email, and URL for the targeted LinkedIn profiles).
LinkedIn Cookie
LinkedIn Cookie is utilized for member authentication and to access LinkedIn data. Vuleads leverages this cookie to automate actions on your behalf within LinkedIn.
Watch this video tutorial to get your LinkedIn cookie or keep reading the guide below.
To obtain your LinkedIn session cookie on Google Chrome, follow these steps:
1. Using a Chrome Extension
Start by installing the Learners.ai extension from the Chrome Web Store.
Next, open LinkedIn in your Chrome browser and log in to your LinkedIn account.
Locate the extensions menu in the top-right corner of your browser window. Click on Learners.ai extension, then click "Copy". This will copy your session cookie.
Optionally, you can pin the extension for quick and easy access in the future.
2. Getting the Session Cookie Without the Extension
Open a new tab in your Google Chrome browser and log in to your LinkedIn account.
Right-click anywhere on the page and select "Inspect" from the context menu.
In the developer console that appears, navigate to the "Application" tab.
On the left side of the console, expand the "Cookies" section and select "www.linkedin.com."
Use the filter bar to locate the "li_at" cookie and copy its value.
Finally, paste this copied value into your LinkedIn Session Cookie field in Vuleads.
These steps will allow Vuleads to authenticate you and perform automated actions on LinkedIn as needed.
Click "Next" to go to next step.
Step 3: Create your video message
Click on "Record" to record your video using your webcam or click on "Upload" to upload a pre-recorded video.
The max recording duration is 2 min.
Uploaded videos should be in landscape format, with a max file size of 300MB.
Then select "That's a wrap!" if you're satisfied with your video and wish to proceed to the next step or choose "Start again" to re-record your video.
Step 4: Customize your video landing page
In this crucial step, you'll be crafting the content of your video landing page, making it truly stand out and resonate with your audience.
Customization Tags
Enhance engagement by adding customization variables like First Name, Last Name, Company Name, and Email to your video title. This simple yet effective touch makes your message feel tailored specifically to each viewer.
Add your Call to Action (CTA)
Your video should inspire action. Insert a crystal-clear and compelling Call to Action (CTA) within your video content.
This prompts your viewers to take the desired action, be it scheduling a meeting, exploring your website, or any other objective you have in mind.
Toggle the switch "Display Call to Action".
Then include your CTA text and URL in the corresponding fields.
Embed your calendar
You have the option to integrate your Calendly link. This allows your calendar to appear alongside your video, streamlining the meeting booking process for your viewers.
Toggle the switch labeled "Show Embedded Calendar".
Then insert your Calendly link URL in the provided field.
Review the preview to see your video landing page design.
Finally, click on "Generate" to render the videos.
By personalizing your video landing page and crafting an impactful CTA, you're primed to maximize engagement and drive the outcomes you desire. These tweaks can make all the difference in creating a memorable and effective video campaign.
Step 5: Preview your videos
Congrats! Your videos have been generated. You can now preview each video by clicking the "eye" icon in the "Landing Page" column.
